We have adopted increased safety measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19

During these unprecedented times, we would like to assure our tenants, landlords, contractors & local authority partners that we are monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19 very closely and we will continue to operate the business as far as possible whilst still ensuring that we carry out the appropriate measures to keep our staff, contractors, tenants & landlords safe.

We have now closed our office in line with the latest Government advice and will endeavour to provide an emergency service to our tenants where possible by staff working from home.

We are actively continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation within the UK and we can assure you that we are taking every necessary step to maintain the health, safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff.

We are fully committed to following all government and Public Health England advice and will update if our response changes.

Regarding Central Housing Group

All Central Housing Group staff members have been reminded of the government guidance regarding hygiene and are aware of all self-isolation protocols.

Hand sanitisers, disinfectants and sinks for handwashing are available in the office for staff to use regularly.

Central Housing Group provide company vehicles to enable our staff to reach tenants when needed.

Regarding Residents

All staff have been instructed that before making appointments, they must ask residents if they are either showing any symptoms of COVID-19, or if they are self-isolating.

If the answer is yes to either question, Central Housing Group staff will not be able to visit the property unless it is an emergency.

All Central Housing Group staff members responding to emergencies are being provided with protective gloves and hand sanitiser.

Please note that we have temporarily suspended all routine property inspections and we are only visiting properties in response to emergencies.

If you wish to report a non-urgent repair please use our form here.

Regarding Properties falling vacant

For any property being vacated by a resident with a confirmed case of COVID-19, IPM will be carrying out a professional cleaning to thoroughly disinfect the property.

Landlords with a Property to let

If you are a landlord with a property to let in north, east or west London areas then please complete our website enquiry form here.

At present we are unable to visit and inspect your property whilst current government guidance is in place, however we can advise on how our scheme operates via telephone & email and we will be happy to visit and inspect your property once government advice says it is safe to do so.
