When getting this property prepared to let to the council in Whetstone, we performed a detailed assessment of general property standards, listing items to be removed or replaced, repair works if any to bring the property up to the required standards.
As part of Central Housing Group’s service we completed the list of maintenance and upgrades listed below and organised the Gas Safety report, NICEIC Electrical Installation report, Portable Appliance Test report and Energy Performance Certificate needed to let the property to the council.

- Paint radiators throughout.
- S/fit new laminate flooring throughout.
- S/fit new fitted kitchen with new hob, oven & extractor hood.
- S/fit mechanical extractor fans in kitchen & bathroom.
- S/fit new bath mixer taps with shower cord attachment.
Additional Snagging List
Hall:
- Replace both locks to front door & provide 6 keys for each.
- Remove old CO detector & key rack from wall.
- Build hinged door to cover electric meter & fuse box inside built-in cupboard.
- Fill, sand & prime chipped areas of gloss on door frames ready for painting.
Bedroom 2:
- Fill & sand window sill ready for painting.
- Replace or adjust window restrictor.
- Scrape, fill, sand & prime skirting ready for painting.
- Replace door handle & keep.
- Renew window sealant.
- Fill, sand & prime chipped areas of gloss on door frame ready for painting.
Bedroom 1:
- Tighten window handle.
- Renew window sealant.
Lounge:
- Re-secure or replace architrave.
- Fill, sand & prime chipped areas of gloss on door frame ready for painting.
- Tack back all cables.
- Strip wallpaper under window & reline ready for painting.
- S/fit plastic trunking to cover radiator pipes right of radiator.
- Fill & sand window sill ready for painting.
- Tighten window handles.
- Renew sealant to window.
- Replace damaged UPVC strip on left side of window.
- Replace door stop.
- Tighten door handle.
Bathroom:
- Re-fit or replace towel rail.
- Remove corner shelves above bath & fill holes.
- Renew sealant throughout.
- Remove old Dimplex electric heater & make good wall.
- Remove fitting hanging off window.
- Renew sealant to window.
- Ease & adjust window to close.
- Remove all old fittings from ceiling & walls, fill & sand ready to paint.
- S/fit WC roll holder.
- S/fit privacy lock.
- Replace light pull cord.
Kitchen:
- S/fit new hasp, staple & padlocks to cupboards on balcony.
- Replace balcony door lock with euro thumb turn & 6 keys.
- Adjust window handle/hinges.
- Fit new fire pack.
