When getting this property prepared to let to the council in Hounslow, we performed a detailed assessment of general property standards, listing items to be removed or replaced, repair works if any to bring the property up to the required standards.
As part of Central Housing Group’s service we completed the list of maintenance and upgrades listed below and organised the Gas Safety report, NICEIC Electrical Installation report, Portable Appliance Test report and Energy Performance Certificate needed to let the property to the council.
Works completed included:

- Fill any gaps to floor.
- Replace both locks & provide 6 keys for each.
- Re-fit thumb turn cover on outside correctly.
Lounge:
- S/fit net, heavy curtain & rail.
- Push laminate back together & S/fit threshold strip.
- Repair/replace overhead door closer.
- Replace missing smoke strips to door frame.
Kitchen:
- Strip vinyl covering off base units & drawers.
- Filter to hood.
- Replace worktops.
- Fill missing grout to tiles.
- Replace sink base unit door & trim to right of it.
Bedroom 1:
- S/fit net, heavy curtains & rail.
- Replace missing smoke strips in door frame.
- S/fit new beading to laminate on wall with door.
Bedroom 2:
- S/fit net, heavy curtains & rail.
Bathroom:
- Replace WC seat & shower curtain.
- Replace mirrored cabinet.
- Replace shower head & cord.
- Fill missing grout to tiles behind bath taps.
