When getting this property prepared to let to the council in Brent, we performed a detailed assessment of general property standards, listing items to be removed or replaced, repair works if any to bring the property up to the required standards.
As part of Central Housing Group’s service we completed the list of maintenance and upgrades listed below and organised the Gas Safety report, NICEIC Electrical Installation report, Portable Appliance Test report and Energy Performance Certificate needed to let the property to the council.

- S/fit hasp, staple and combination padlocks to loft hatch.
- Fit sealed/covered light fitting to kitchen.
Hallway:
- Remove battery smoke alarm.
Lounge:
- Remove sofas.
- S/fit net & heavy curtains.
- Repair hinge to door.
Kitchen:
- Entrance door 1 – S/fit 3 x new steel hinges & s/fit heat & smoke strips & remove perco closer.
- S/fit grille/vent to exterior for extractor on wall.
- Fire Door 2 – Repaint fully, S/fit overhead door closer to door.
- S/fit 50/50 Fridge/freezer.
- S/fit net curtain & blind.
- Re-fix shelf & base unit joint to end base unit.
Utility Area:
- Paint cupboard.
- S/fit plastic trim to door frame.
- Remove washing machine & cap off waste.
- Renew CO alarm as sensor expired.
Bathroom:
- S/fit doorstop.
- S/fit towel ring.
- S/fit 1 x blind if possible.
- Replace w.c seat.
Hallway/Landing/Stairs:
- Remove battery smoke alarm.
Bedroom 1:
- S/fit net & heavy curtains.
- Replace bulb holder.
- Replace door latch on frame.
Bedroom 2:
- Dispose of bed & units.
- S/fit nets & heavy curtains.
- S/fit radiator valve.
- Remove hook to door.
Bedroom 3:
- S/fit nets & heavy curtains.
