Every year The Parliamentary Review spring launch brings together the most creative and inspiring voices across business, industry, education and the public sector to share insight, encourage best practice and help organisations confront the challenges of an ever-changing political landscape. Co-chaired by Lord Blunkett and Lord Pickles, The Review features commentary from senior politicians and journalists.

Success for businesses of any size does not always come easily, and this year’s edition of The Parliamentary Review is indispensable for anyone who seeks to make a name for themselves in industry. It highlights significant developments and concerns for business leaders up and down the country.

The co-chairman of The Parliamentary Review, Lord Pickles, has praised the upcoming Review as one of the most comprehensive yet. He commented that as Britain undergoes changes, it is “essential that politicians have a firm understanding of the challenges with which British organisations must contend” and that The Review once again provides a perfect platform for this.

In her foreword for The Parliamentary Review, the Secretary of State for International Trade, Elizabeth Truss, states that “commerce and free exchange are the engine room of prosperity and social mobility” and that she is “determined to tackle the forces who want to hold that back”.

Our company was recently honoured to be invited, as a best practice representative in our field, to participate and publish an article in the 2020 edition of The Parliamentary Review, an independent political journal which is published yearly. The Parliamentary Review itself is a series of British publications which aims to share best practice amongst policymakers and business leaders. Each edition focuses on a specific governmental policy area such as finance, healthcare, transport, education, housing, technology or energy.

Our company is represented this year within the General Housing document on pages 21-23 (https://www.theparliamentaryreview.co.uk/editions/2020/housing/housing-general). The purpose of such a publication is to share knowledge and best practice, with the shared objective of raising standards and stimulating debate within a multitude of respective industries and trades.

We feel privileged to have been invited to contribute to this prestigious publication, which is distributed to thousands of leading policymakers including MPs, House of Lords peers, Chief Executives, Managing Directors, Housing Associations, house builders and property developers, estate and letting agents, along with other individuals who hold weight and or interest within our sector.

We hope that our article will have a positive impact & encourage debate particularly in relation to generally raising the bar within our own industry. We also recognise that our invitation to participate in this notable publication is a direct consequence of the hard work, commitment and diligence of all our staff over many years and the continued and unerring and invaluable support of our Local Authority clients and landlords.

We hope the article provides you with interesting reading and we welcome your feedback.
