When getting this property prepared to let to the council in Harrow, we performed a detailed assessment of general property standards, listing items to be removed or replaced, repair works if any to bring the property up to the required standards.
As part of Central Housing Group’s service we completed the list of maintenance and upgrades listed below and organised the Gas Safety report, NICEIC Electrical Installation report, Portable Appliance Test report and Energy Performance Certificate needed to let the property to the council.
Works completed included:
General:
- Redecorate walls, woodwork & ceilings to kitchen & bathroom only.
- S/fit thumb turn lock to replace mortice lock.
- S/fit 2 x new fire doors to rear lounge & kitchen from hallway.
- S/fit new tiles splash back behind cooker, grout and seal.
- Renew mastic sealants to worktop on left of cooker and behind sink (cream colour).
- Cap off w/machine waste.
- Adjust cupboard hinge on left of w/machine space.
- S/fit new floor tread to entrance to rear lounge.
Rear Garden:
- Repairs to right fence panel by post, large gap.
- Refix /secure the stair tread to the top turn of the stairs as moves.
Rear Bedroom:
- Tighten drawer fronts on fitted cupboards and refix 2/3 back boards to cupboards.
- Fit support behind wc cistern and present better to looks more professional.
- S/fit plug and chain for sink.
- Renew sealant to bath and corner of wall from top down.
